Why has this network been set up?There is limited research on social work education in societies experiencing political conflict or making the transition to post-conflict situations. Some small-scale local studies on social workers working in such contexts have been published The network seeks to facilitate a dynamic and supportive exchange of information about: Who can participate in the network?Social work academics, social work students, practice educators, service users, and other interested parties are all encouraged to contribute to this network. The network aims to provide a supportive community, united in obligations to pursue social justice and social development, in which colleagues critically reflect on their practice in relation to events taking place throughout the world, identifying their relevance to social work and education.
