International Social Work for Peace
ResearchResearch

There is limited published research on social work education in societies experiencing political conflict or making the transition to post-conflict situations.

In this section, we hope to make available local studies and conference presentations which might not otherwise be readily available to other researchers.

Topics which may be relevant are

  • The impact of political conflict on populations and the role of social workers

  • Social Work in post-conflict situations

  • Social work intervention in political conflict situations and approaches to conflict resolution – What works?

  • What support do social workers need to do this work?

  • Our intention is to provide linked webpages under each of these sections.

Please email your ideas and contributions for this section to
